- Forest types with share of coniferous trees
EUROLAND delivers and publishes high resolution Forest layers across various test sites in Europe.
The Forest Area comprises all forsets in 2006 with a crown closure of 10% and currently unstocked Forest Areas in 2006.
The product forest types is available in 3 versions:
- Representation of broadleafed trees
- Coniferous trees in percent, and
- Forest types in 4 discrete classes
Forest Area change is a product that provides information on increase and decrease of forest areas.
The Forest Density represents the crown closage per pixel according to CORINE Land Cover definition (30% coverage treshold) and FAO definition (10% coverage treshold).
