G-MOSAIC is the EU-funded project responsible for the development of the pre-operational GMES security service (more about G-MOSAIC).
G-MOSAIC provides intelligence to the EU and its Member States before, during and after a crisis occurs. The project supports EU intervention activities in the form of preparedness, crisis management, damage assessment, reconstruction and resilience.
Recent Achievements
G-MOSAIC recent achievements include:
- Provision of maps for the earthquake and tsunami in Chile (March 2010)
- Provision of maps for the earthquake in Haïti (January 2010)
