The Estonian Environment Information Centre maintains and administers numerous environmental databases.

Estonian authorities study the establishment of an Environmental Register whose aim would be to consolidate the existing environmental databases into one national main register. This register would include all environmental data in time and space, and would have a structure enabling the use of data according to internationally approved principles.
